333 Seymour/601 West Hastings

Located in downtown Vancouver, these two adjacent office towers of 17 storeys and 24 storeys are in close proximity to Waterfront Station and the Burrard Inlet, one block from Vancouver’s historic Gastown. Cygnus began work on 601 West Hastings nearly seven years before it was completed. When PCI Developments acquired the property it created an opportunity to brand the tower as a companion to their adjacent property at 333 Seymour. Signage examined opportunities to share a common approach while distinguishing each tower through materials and colour selection.

In addition to exterior site signage, Cygnus provided wayfinding throughout the interiors and parkades of both buildings. Working with the architectural team, Cygnus developed a prominent brand identity for each tower. The architect’s initial concept developed into a unique and distinct address sign, making a strong first impression for all those who visit the site.
