The 34-storey Residence Inn by Marriott is the largest of its kind worldwide and has quickly become the brand’s flagship property. Cygnus oversaw all planning, design and implementation of signage and wayfinding throughout the hotel.

Cygnus worked closely with artist Julie Bender to reproduce 15″ original paintings onto 5’ x 8’ maple wood panels. The installations feature intimate horse and cow imagery, referencing the western culture of the site.

The 303-unit SODO tower is a luxury, lease-only residential tower managed by QuadReal Property Group. The interior signage reflects materials used throughout the property and provides a sophisticated visual contrast to the brick interior spaces.

The SODO residential tower and Residence Inn by Marriott are linked by a multi-level underground parkade. Cygnus designed all parking-related signage including custom-fabricated exterior parking signs, centrifugal-cast concrete posts, and integrated real-time parking information.

Floor-to-ceiling murals wrap the interior walls of the bike room and enrich the underground spaces.
