CF Pacific Centre

Pacific Centre is the largest shopping mall in Vancouver. The mall is connected to the Hudson’s Bay department store, Canada Line network, a corporate office tower, and the former Four Seasons Hotel.

The result of a new brand strategy that seeks to improve continuity between Cadillac Fairview-owned sites, Pacific Centre underwent a redesign of all site-based brand applications. The outcomes position Pacific Centre alongside a broad portfolio of shopping centres through a consistent approach to the Pacific Centre wordmark. Increased emphasis on the CF logo in all applications improves awareness of the Cadillac Fairview brand.

Cygnus developed a wayfinding and signage system for the expansive parkade which enables intuitive customer navigation and directs visitors to the numerous destinations. Signage and other visual treatments provide clear labeling, direction, and orientation while reinforcing a sense of place within the surrounding downtown environment.

Visual standards for typography, colour, and icons provide continuity across many areas within Pacific Centre including the office tower and parkade. Parkade signage makes use of custom exit icons that reference the identifiable forms for Vancouver’s four bridges, a tool that helps visitors exit towards their intended orientation.
