Dedicated pedestrian and cycle lanes wind through RiverWalk, supported by clear, user-friendly signage. Cygnus provided industrial design for a family of custom sign types, including placemaking plinths, instructional pylons, and crossing indicators that align with the character of the site and improve user safety and experience. Materials and finishes were selected for durability and visual clarity, while placement reinforced intuitive movement across the public realm.
Making the Complex Legible
Multi-layered city planning maps were translated into easy-to-understand area guides that support wayfinding throughout RiverWalk. These graphic panels simplify intersecting trail networks and nearby landmarks into a clear, intuitive format that helps users orient themselves and move confidently. Every panel was designed to deliver essential information without disrupting the visual calm of the naturalized riverfront, reinforcing a sense of place while improving everyday usability.
Technical Precision
Detailed exploded assembly drawings were developed to ensure accuracy and build integrity. These technical drawings provided fabricators and contractors with precise guidance on material composition, hardware, and installation methods, supporting high-quality execution during tender and construction.
