A New Kind of Honour Wall
The University of Guelph approached Cygnus to create a dynamic recognition feature that celebrates Gryphon Football’s history while engaging fans, alumni, and future players. The Honour Wall needed to inform, inspire, and unify, serving as both a record of achievement and a statement of identity. Drawing inspiration from the energy of game day, Cygnus designed a three-part installation that merges storytelling with motion: Flight of the Gryphon, Guardians of the Lair, and Gamechangers. Together, these segments recognise over 1,200 honourees.

Dynamic Design
At the centre of the Honour Wall is a two-sided lenticular display. One side features large-scale imagery of Gryphon football players, capturing the energy and spirit that define the program. The other reveals the names of donors, alumni, and honourees, offering a quiet yet powerful expression of gratitude. This duality ensures the installation stands as both a striking landmark and a lasting record of support.

Built to Go the Distance
As always, Cygnus designed the installation for durability and adaptability as well as aesthetic impact. Each panel is reinforced to prevent dents and damage, while the UV-laminated graphics remain vibrant, even under constant exposure to the elements. The modular structure allows for easy updates, ensuring the wall remains current and relevant to future generations of the growing Gryphon community.
