Navigating a 12-storey, 370,000 sq ft facility within the New St. Paul’s Hospital campus in Vancouver.
The Clinical Support and Research Centre (CSRC) is a pivotal part of the New St. Paul’s Hospital campus. It’s an ambitious, multi-stakeholder healthcare development that brings together research, clinical support, and public-facing programs under one roof. As with any project of this scale and complexity, clarity in the built environment is essential. Our role was to ensure the signage and wayfinding systems could meet the technical, operational, and regulatory demands of a facility serving diverse user groups. The system developed for CSRC is a direct extension of the standards established for St. Paul’s Hospital, designed to maintain continuity while supporting the distinct operational needs of researchers, patients, and staff across a highly specialized and integrated environment.
